Microphones - the different types

Table mic
For top table speaking, at least one per two people.

Lectern mic
Like table mic, but with a longer stand. Up to two may be used.

Tie mic
Clip-on for individual speakers.

Radio mic
Either tie clip-on or hand-held. The latter is ideal for Q&A sessions.

Boundary mic
For recording boardroom sessions only.
